Interior finish carpentry

The details that finish a room.

Hover or tap a diamond to see the work up close.

Carpenter marking a board with a pencil among wood shavings

The craft

Made by hand, fitted to the wall you actually have.

Old houses aren't square and new ones aren't perfect. We scribe, cope and shim until every joint closes tight, then fill, sand and paint so the work looks like it grew there.

Most pieces are built in our shop, then finished in place. You get furniture-grade work that fits like it was always part of the house.

Questions

Good to know.

Can you match the trim in my old house?

Usually. We can reproduce many historic profiles, or combine stock pieces to get very close to what's there.

Paint-grade or stain-grade?

Paint-grade is made for a smooth painted finish; stain-grade uses select hardwoods so the grain can show. We'll help you choose.

Do you build in your shop or on site?

Both. Cabinetry and built-ins are built in the shop; trim and paneling are cut and fitted on site.

Do you paint as well?

We can deliver paint-ready or fully finished, depending on what you prefer.

How messy is installation?

We cut outside or under dust extraction and protect floors, so daily life can carry on around us.
