What we can't take: hazardous materials such as paint, chemicals, fuel and asbestos. We'll point you to local drop-off options.
Where it all goes
Usable furniture and household goods go to local charities and reuse programs whenever they will accept them.
Metal, cardboard, electronics and appliances are separated and sent to the right recyclers.
Whatever is left goes to licensed transfer stations, never a roadside or empty lot.
