Can you order a book you do not have on the shelf?
Almost always. Ask at the counter or use the form below and we will let you know when it arrives, usually within a few days.
Do you buy used books?
We buy good-condition fiction, history, art and children’s books on weekday mornings. Bring a box and we will make an offer in store credit or cash.
Is there somewhere to sit and read?
Yes. The reading room at the back has armchairs, good light and coffee from the counter.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Every book can be wrapped in our house paper at no extra charge.
