It isn’t
just a mug.

It is clay we wedge by hand, a wheel that spins all morning and a kiln that decides the final color.

Questions from the studio

Is your stoneware safe for the dishwasher and microwave?

Yes. Our glazes are fired to stoneware temperature and are food safe. Hand washing keeps the finish looking new for longer, but everyday use is exactly what they are made for.

Can I order a custom set for a restaurant or cafe?

We make small wholesale runs for cafes and restaurants. Tell us the pieces, colors and quantities you have in mind and we will plan a test batch with you.

Do I need experience to join a wheel class?

No. Beginner classes start with centering clay and end with pieces you can glaze and take home.

Why does every piece look slightly different?

Each one is thrown by hand and fired in a kiln where heat moves unevenly. Small variations in shape and glaze are part of the work.
