Why your new website has no traffic

Almost always one of a handful of causes. Work through them in this order rather than guessing.

1. Can it be found at all?

Check the site is not blocking search engines, that pages return a normal status, and that a sitemap exists and has been submitted. A surprising number of new sites are accidentally hidden.

2. Is anyone searching for this?

Some services have genuine search demand; some do not. If nobody searches your phrasing, ranking for it changes nothing. Use the words your customers use, not industry terminology.

3. Are there pages worth ranking?

A five-page brochure site has five chances. Businesses that get organic enquiries usually have a page per service and content answering buying questions.

4. Has enough time passed?

A new site is not competitive in weeks. Indexing can happen quickly; earning position takes months of genuine work.

If you launched a fortnight ago, nothing is broken. You are early.
