A common situation: a freelancer built you a beautiful Webflow site two years ago. They have since taken a full-time job. Now you need to change an address, add a service and fix a form, and the Designer view looks like a cockpit. This page helps you decide whether to learn it, hire another Webflow specialist, or move to a managed site.
What Webflow is built for
Webflow is a visual design and content platform. It gives precise control over layout, animations and a content management system called the CMS, which is why agencies and design teams like it. Its pricing page separates Site plans, which pay for hosting a site, from Workspace plans, which cover the people and seats that build it. A free Starter option exists for trying the platform. Prices did not display in the copy of the page we read, so check the pricing page directly for current amounts.
Who should not leave Webflow
- ✓You have a designer or marketing team using it — Webflow rewards people who work in it every week
- ✓You publish lots of structured content — CMS collections such as listings or resources are hard to replace casually
- ✓Your site relies on interactions and animations — rebuilding them elsewhere is real design work
- ✓You run localized versions — translated pages tied to Webflow’s tools would need planning
What leaving involves
Webflow’s help center says code export is available on paid Workspace plans and produces the HTML, CSS, JavaScript and images for your pages. It also lists what that export leaves out: CMS content, ecommerce data, user accounts, localized content, password protection and form submission processing. Earlier form submissions have to be exported separately. In plain terms, the static design comes with you, while your collections, store data and form handling do not.
So before changing anything, download what you can: form submissions, a list of every page and its address, your images, and any CMS items you want to keep. Then confirm where your domain is registered and in whose name.
What we do vs what Webflow does
- ✓Webflow gives you — a design tool, hosting and a CMS that someone has to operate
- ✓We give you — a site written, built and hosted by our team, with no tool to learn
- ✓Edits — you send a message; Website Care covers up to 30 minutes of small edits a month
- ✓Old page addresses — we map important old addresses to their new pages so links keep working
- ✓Design control — Webflow offers more fine detail; we offer ten revision rounds before launch
What the managed route costs
We rebuild the site on our managed hosting rather than inside Webflow. A five-page site fits the Launch Website at $399, paid once; a site with many service or location pages often fits Business Plus at $989 for up to 20 pages. Website Care at $30/month keeps it hosted, backed up and checked weekly. Monthly SEO is optional, with no ranking promises.

What to expect, honestly
- ✓We are not Webflow — read its pages for current plans and export rules
- ✓We do not edit inside Webflow — we build a new site on our managed hosting
- ✓We cannot recreate every animation — we design for clarity and speed, and say upfront what changes
