A community center site launches smoothly when the current term’s programs are final and the registration path is chosen. Get those two things settled and everything else follows.
How the launch unfolds
Day 1-2: You send programs, hours and rental details, and we outline the home page to show programs and events up front.
Week 1: We build the programs, rentals and events pages and wire up the registration links.
Week 2: You check dates and times carefully and approve the wording.
Launch: The site goes live, and a 48-hour launch is possible for eligible projects with content ready.
What to gather before you start
- ✓Current program list — Names, days, times and age groups for each class so residents can find what fits.
- ✓Hours and contact details — Opening hours, holiday closures and the best way to reach staff.
- ✓Rental information — Space descriptions, capacities and how to ask about availability.
- ✓Event details — Dates, times and any registration for upcoming gatherings.
- ✓Photos of people and spaces — Real images of classes and rooms make the center feel welcoming.
The first month after launch
In the first month, update the calendar after every change and remove finished programs promptly. Add photos from recent events, and check that registration links still work at the start of each new term. Share the site address in flyers, newsletters and at the front desk.
Mistakes to avoid at launch
- ✓Burying programs under announcements — residents cannot find classes and sign-ups fall
- ✓Leaving out rental details — groups assume spaces are not available
- ✓Letting the calendar go stale — people stop trusting any date on the site
