Launching a doula site means letting an expecting parent feel your warmth and understand what you offer before they write. A kind tone and clear packages do the work.
How the launch unfolds
Day 1-2: You send your services, approach, story and inquiry preferences, and we confirm the page plan.
Week 1: We build the home page with a warm welcome, then the services, approach and about pages, and share a preview.
Week 2: You adjust tone and wording until it sounds like you and approve the inquiry form.
Launch: We test on a phone and publish; a 48-hour launch is possible for eligible projects with content ready.
What to gather before you start
- ✓Services and packages — Birth, postpartum or consultation offerings described plainly and gently
- ✓Your approach — How you support families and what a typical relationship looks like
- ✓Your story — Why you do this work and how you came to it, in your own words
- ✓A portrait and warm photos — Images that feel natural and, if you include families, only with permission
- ✓Inquiry path — How you want parents to reach you and what happens next
The first month after launch
In the first month, check that inquiries reach you and reply with warmth. Add a short note about how far ahead families usually reach out, and update availability as your calendar fills. Share the site with local care providers who know your work, and keep descriptions informational with no outcome promises.
Mistakes to avoid at launch
- ✓Using a cold or clinical tone — parents feel distance and keep searching
- ✓Not listing packages — families cannot tell what support looks like
- ✓Leaving out an inquiry path — interested parents have no way to take the next step
One example of what your site could look like
This is one sample we designed. Yours is built around your business, your photos and your words, and we have more examples if you want to compare directions.
What it costs
Websites are priced one-time by size, plus Website Care at $30/month for hosting, HTTPS, backups, weekly checks and A/B testing. Monthly SEO is an optional add-on when you are ready for it.
Optional add-ons, billed separately
