Event venue sites need to be live well ahead of peak spring and fall seasons, because couples and planners often begin touring a year before the date. The deciding details are capacity per room, what each package includes and which vendors are allowed, so gather those before any design work starts. Strong photos of each space, empty and set for an event, carry the rest.
How the launch unfolds
Day 1-2: You send capacities, packages, rules and photos, and we design a home page that leads with your strongest room and a tour button.
Week 1: We build the spaces, packages and gallery pages and turn your house rules into a readable FAQ.
Week 2: You review every number and policy, test the tour form on a phone and choose the final gallery order.
Launch: We publish once you approve; a 48-hour launch is possible for eligible projects with content ready.
What to gather before you start
- ✓Room-by-room capacity — seated dinner, ceremony and standing reception counts for each space, plus combined layouts
- ✓Package outlines — rental hours, tables and chairs, linens, setup and cleanup, and what costs extra
- ✓Vendor and catering rules — exclusive caterers, preferred vendor lists, alcohol policies and music cut-off times
- ✓Photos of each space — empty rooms in daylight, the same rooms set for events, and outdoor areas at golden hour
- ✓Tour preferences — when you hold tours, how far ahead to book and what you want to know before scheduling one
The first month after launch
In the first month, add photos from recent weddings, galas and corporate events, with the hosts’ permission and the photographer’s credit. Before each peak season, update the line about open dates and how far ahead you are booking. Share the site with planners, caterers and photographers you work with, and refresh the FAQ whenever the same question comes up on several tours. If your house rules change, such as a new music cut-off or a revised catering list, update the FAQ before the next tour so couples hear the same answer online and in person.
Mistakes to avoid at launch
- ✓Leaving capacity out — you spend Saturday afternoons touring groups that will never fit
- ✓Keeping package contents vague — couples cannot compare you with other venues and drop you from the shortlist
- ✓Burying the tour request — an interested planner closes the tab before finding how to visit
