A property manager’s site launches smoothly once you decide how owners and tenants should each reach what they need. Separate, clear paths do more than extra pages.
How the launch unfolds
Day 1-2: You send your services, listings, tenant information and area, and we outline the home, owners, listings, tenants and contact pages.
Week 1: We write and lay out the pages, build clear paths for each audience and connect your listing and request tools.
Week 2: You review on a phone, we adjust wording and test every path from owner and tenant views.
Launch: We publish, check mobile layout and give you a short note on keeping listings current.
What to gather before you start
- ✓A description of your management services — what you handle for owners, from marketing units to maintenance coordination
- ✓Current listings with photos — or the link to the tool where listings live
- ✓Tenant information — how to reach you for requests and where to find move-in details
- ✓Your service area and property types — so owners can see whether their property fits
- ✓Photos of properties and your team — real buildings and people beat stock apartment images
The first month after launch
In the first month, keep listings current and check that requests reach you. Add photos of new units as they open and update seasonal notes ahead of summer, which is a busy rental period. Ask satisfied owners for a review through the platforms you already use.
Mistakes to avoid at launch
- ✓Mixing owner and tenant content — each audience has to dig through the other’s information and some give up
- ✓Letting listings go stale — visitors see unavailable units and lose trust
- ✓Leaving out owner information — prospective clients cannot see how you work with them
