A property portfolio site launches smoothly when every building has its own short profile and one person owns the availability list. Visitors arrive with a neighborhood or a unit size in mind, so the page has to sort the portfolio quickly.
How the launch unfolds
Day 1-2: you send your building list, a representative unit description for each and a set of photos, and we outline a home page that sorts by neighborhood or property type
Week 1: we write each building’s page and the availability page, and you confirm square footage, features and what is included
Week 2: the leasing inquiry form asks for unit type, move date and contact route, and you test it for each building
Launch week: we connect your domain, you check each page on a phone as a prospective renter would, and we publish
What to gather before you start
- ✓Building profiles — name, street area, year or character, number of units and what the neighborhood offers within walking distance
- ✓Unit mix with sizes — studios, one-bedrooms, retail suites or office floors, with typical square footage and what is included
- ✓Exterior and interior photos — entrance, hallway, a representative unit and any shared spaces, all current
- ✓Leasing process — how someone applies, what the tour looks like and who answers questions
- ✓Availability notes — which units are open, when they open and how you keep that list accurate
The first month after launch
In the first month, set a weekly reminder to confirm the availability page and replace dated photos after any renovation. Track which buildings draw the most inquiries and expand their pages. Add lease-end timing notes so renters know when to ask, and remove units the day they are taken.
Mistakes to avoid at launch
- ✓Using the same hero photo for every building — visitors cannot tell the properties apart and leave without picking one
- ✓Letting availability fall a month behind — renters call about units that rented weeks ago and your leasing staff pays for the confusion
- ✓Describing amenities that belong to a neighboring property — complaints arrive at move-in
