A parent finds your site while the birthday party is still a vague plan. They pick a castle, type a date and move on to the next thing in their day. Without a deposit, that date is a maybe. With one, it is a reservation you can plan a delivery route around.
The mistake that costs rental owners Saturdays
The most common problem is not a lack of customers; it is double interest in the same unit. Two parents ask for the same combo unit on the same morning, you say yes to the first and wait for money that never comes, and then turn the second one away. By Friday you have an empty truck and a free unit.
A deposit fixes the order of events: request first, deposit second, confirmation third. The site can say that in three plain lines, so every parent knows where they stand.
What the page should tell a parent
- ✓Which unit and which date — the request form carries both so nothing is retyped
- ✓The deposit amount and what it covers — the unit, delivery and setup window
- ✓The delivery area — towns or distance, so people outside it stop early
- ✓The weather and surface notes — grass, pavement or tight gates, written in your own words
What we set up, what you supply
We build the request form, place the deposit link or payment button after it, and write a confirmation message in a friendly tone. If you do not take card payments yet, we can help you set up Square for deposits; if you already use another tool, we connect that.
You supply the deposit amount, your cancellation and weather wording, and the list of units. Any fee on a payment is charged by the processor, not by us, and your rules about refunds are your own.
Gather these before we start
- ✓Your unit list with sizes — including any that need extra space or power
- ✓A photo of each unit — set up and clean, ideally outdoors
- ✓Your deposit and balance timing — for example, balance due on delivery
- ✓Your rainy day wording — what happens when a party gets washed out
What to expect, honestly
- ✓We do not decide weather policy — you write it and we place it clearly
- ✓We do not track inventory in real time — a date is held once you confirm it on your own calendar
- ✓We make no safety claims for you — you provide the safety notes you want shown
