Every season somebody has to run the concession stand, collect the raffle tickets and find someone to cover the Friday shift. Booster clubs often do that through group chats that lose the new family. A site that lists the roles and gives each parent a simple way to say yes keeps the same five people from doing everything.
List the jobs by game and by event
We build a volunteer page around the actual jobs: concession stand, gate, scoreboard, hospitality, banquet setup. Each has a short line about the time commitment and who runs it. Parents decide faster when they can see a job is two hours and not a season.
A form beneath collects the name, the role, the best days and the player the family is connected to, if you want that.
Fields worth including
- ✓Parent or guardian name — who will actually show up
- ✓Role and preferred dates — matched to the season schedule
- ✓Player or team — so you can group by sport
- ✓How to reach them — text or email, as they prefer
- ✓Notes — dietary needs for a banquet, for example
Sponsors and fundraisers
Local businesses support teams when asking is easy. A sponsor page showing the levels you offer, what each includes and how to join gives you something to hand to a business owner. You set the levels and amounts; we lay them out clearly.
Fundraisers get a short section each, with dates and a link to the tool you use for collecting gifts. Fees on that tool belong to its provider.
What changes through the year
- ✓Pre-season — sign-ups for roles, sponsor outreach
- ✓Game season — schedule and weekly volunteer needs
- ✓End of season — banquet details and senior night
- ✓Off-season — fundraisers and equipment drives
One owner for the site
Pick a parent who updates the page each month, or send changes to us. A schedule from last fall makes supporters wonder if the club is still active.
What to expect, honestly
- ✓No payment processing on the form — gifts go through your giving tool
- ✓No roster or student records — we do not store player data
- ✓Schedules are updated by hand — not synced to a league system
