The short answer
Which products fit at $50K a month
| Product | MFE revenue guideline | Other common guidelines |
|---|---|---|
| Merchant cash advance | About $7,500 a month | 3+ months, credit flexible |
| Working capital loan | About $17,500 a month | 6+ months, about 600+ credit |
| Line of credit | About $17,500 a month | 1+ year, about 650+ credit |
| Equipment financing | Based on the equipment | 6+ months, vendor quote needed |
These are planning guidelines, not approval rules. See the Merchant Fund Express $50K revenue page for how they apply.
Who this fits and who it does not
It fits a business with steady deposits near $50,000, few or no existing advances, and a use for the money that pays back within the term. A landscaping company buying a second crew truck or a cafe adding catering equipment are typical.
It fits poorly when $50,000 was one strong month after several at $25,000, when the account shows frequent overdrafts, or when two advances already take a large share of deposits.
Check what your business qualifies for
Merchant Fund Express reviews business funding at $50k a month in revenue requests from $5,000 to $5,000,000. Scores from 500 are considered, and same-day decisions are common on complete files.

Assumptions: deposits average $50,000 a month over 22 business days. The owner takes $35,000 with an assumed factor rate of 1.28, an assumed 2.5% origination fee, and 160 daily payments.
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Advance amount | $35,000 |
| Origination fee (2.5%) | $875 |
| Net cash received | $34,125 |
| Total repayment (35,000 x 1.28) | $44,800 |
| Daily payment (44,800 / 160) | $280 |
| Monthly outflow (280 x 22) | $6,160, about 12% of deposits |
These figures are illustrations, not offers. Real pricing, terms and amounts depend on the full file Merchant Fund Express reviews.
Ask whether your margin can absorb $6,160 a month for about seven months. If your profit after expenses is $5,000 a month, it cannot, and a smaller amount is wiser.
How to choose a size
Start from the payment, not the amount. Write down your typical monthly profit after rent, payroll and owner pay. A payment that eats more than half of it leaves no room for a slow month. Then work backward to the amount. Our guide to how much you can borrow walks through that math in more detail.
Also check the low months. If December deposits drop to $32,000, size the payment to December, not to the average.
Funding brings customers. Is your website ready for them?
At $50,000 a month, a new crew or new equipment only pays off when the phone keeps ringing, so the website should list every service area and make quotes easy to request. Cheap Cheap Websites builds professional sites from $399, and Website Care at $30/month covers hosting, backups and small edits as you grow.
What to prepare
- Three to four months of business bank statements.
- Owner ID and a voided business check.
- A short application.
- A list of any existing advances or loans with their payment amounts.
Clean statements with few negative days help as much as the revenue figure itself.
When waiting is better
- If you are at 10 months in business with credit near 650, waiting two more months could open a line of credit at the 1+ year guideline.
- If revenue is climbing quickly, three more months of higher deposits can raise the amount you qualify for.
- If you are nearing $100,000 a month, compare options at $100K a month before you lock in a smaller payment schedule.
