If you are weighing these two, you have already ruled out building the site alone. Both UENI and our team write and design the site for you, so this page looks only at what differs: the payment shape, editing after launch, and the extras bundled into each plan.
How UENI works, in its own words
UENI describes a three-step process. You fill in an online questionnaire about your colors, hours, services and photos, which it says takes 15 to 30 minutes. Its team of designers, copywriters and SEO specialists then builds the site over seven days, and the launch happens on a 30-minute Zoom call where you are trained on its editor.
On its pricing page on the day we checked, the Website Launch plan was listed at $24.99/mo plus a $79 setup fee, with the setup fee shown as reduced from $599. That plan listed a custom domain, SSL, a professional email address, hosting and 30 days of done-for-you edits. Its Plus, Ecommerce and Growth plans add unlimited done-for-you edits, Google Business Profile management, a full store and a marketing team; check the page for current amounts.
Where UENI is the better fit
- ✓You want to edit it yourself too — UENI includes an editor and trains you on it at launch
- ✓You need a real online store — its Ecommerce plan lists abandoned cart recovery, product subscriptions and automated sales tax
- ✓You want ongoing marketing in one bill — the Growth plan lists a custom marketing plan and monthly content
- ✓You want a business email address bundled — the plans list one or more professional mailboxes
- ✓You prefer a form to a conversation — the questionnaire replaces a live consultation
How our service is shaped differently
We charge for the build once, not as part of a monthly fee. The Launch Website is $399 for up to 5 pages, and Business Plus is $989 for up to 20 pages, with larger plans above that. Every package starts with a live consultation with a person, and you get ten revision rounds before launch.
After launch, Website Care at $30/month keeps the site hosted and backed up and includes up to 30 minutes of small edits each month. There is no editor to learn; you send the change and we make it. Se habla español, from the consultation through every edit.

Ask what happens to your site and domain if you stop paying. Ask whether edits after the first month are included or billed, and how many. Ask what the setup fee becomes after a promotion ends. Our answers: the domain is set up in your name, the build price is fixed and paid once, and small edits are included in Website Care up to 30 minutes a month.
The honest summary
Pick UENI if you like the idea of a team-built site that you can also edit yourself, or if you need a full store or a bundled marketing team. Pick us if you want to pay for the build once, talk it through with a person in English or Spanish, and never open an editor.
