A contractor’s site has to earn trust from someone who has never met you and is about to let you into their home or their budget. The samples below are designs we made, not client results, and they show how very different trades can each look professional without looking alike.
What a buyer wants to know
Homeowners and property managers are checking a short list. Do you do this job? Do you work in my area? What does the process look like and how do I get a price? They also want to see work that resembles theirs, because a roof is not a staircase and a duct cleaning is not a solar install.
Commercial buyers have a slightly different list: capacity, past project types and who they should contact. A single page can serve both, if the structure is clear.
What to look for in these samples
- ✓A diagram or map approach — some samples explain the job visually, which suits technical trades
- ✓Service list and area — every trade shown with where it is available
- ✓Quote or booking path — one clear request form per page
- ✓Project proof — photos and descriptions of real work, supplied by you
- ✓Plain language — no trade jargon a homeowner would not use
Choosing a style and sending us the facts
Technical trades such as solar benefit from an explainer style with a diagram. Visual crafts such as metalwork suit an exhibition feel. Roofing and cleaning services are best served by simple, scannable layouts with a fast quote form.
Send your services, your area, photos of finished jobs and the questions customers always ask. We write the pages, build the quote form and set up service pages for each trade you want to be found for. Any license or insurance wording must come from you, exactly as it should read.
Pages and features a contractor site should cover
- ✓A page per service — each trade or job type with its own description and form
- ✓Project write-ups — before, during and after photos with a short note
- ✓A how we work page — estimate, schedule, crew arrival and cleanup
- ✓Service area text — the towns you actually cover
- ✓A warranty or workmanship section — only in the exact wording you supply
How each contractor sample is built
The roofing sample uses a blue wireframe site map, an approach that shows where a roof system starts and stops in a way homeowners can follow. The solar installer sample explains the install with an isometric hotspot diagram, letting visitors tap a panel or inverter for a short explanation. The air duct cleaning sample is organized around fresh-air booking, the right shape for a recurring service someone schedules rather than bids. The metal fabrication sample takes an exhibition architecture approach, presenting gates, railings and custom pieces like works in a gallery.
Two outdoor samples round out the set: the pool and outdoor living design sample with an interactive water hero, and the landscape lighting designer sample with its flashlight night garden. Bid-based trades usually benefit from the diagram and wireframe ideas, while booked services do better with a short, direct scheduling layout.
What to expect, honestly
- ✓We do not verify credentials — you provide any wording
- ✓Samples show design only
- ✓Pricing stays out unless you give it
