When an agency hands site builds to a partner, risk rides along. A missed date, a sloppy file or a message sent to the wrong person lands on your name. The questions below are the ones that surface how a partner really works, before a client is waiting on them.
Questions about scope and delivery
Ask what a standard project covers and what pushes it into a bigger scope. Ask what you must provide to start, such as copy, brand assets and access, and what the partner writes. Ask what a delivered handoff includes: the site, credentials, documentation, backups.
Ask for typical turnaround ranges tied to scope, and what delays them. Anyone who promises a single number for every job is guessing.
Questions about quality and confidentiality
- ✓How is work checked? — a QA step before delivery, not just a visual glance
- ✓Who sees your client’s details? — the team size and access policy
- ✓Will the partner contact my client? — it should not, unless you ask
- ✓How do revisions work? — rounds, turnaround, who approves
- ✓What goes under my name? — delivery should be white-label if that is the arrangement
Questions about ownership and continuity
Ask who owns the finished site and the domain, and what happens to hosting if the relationship ends. Ask what the offboarding looks like: exported files, access transfer, documented setup.
Ask whether ongoing care is offered, and what it includes. Our Website Care plan at $30/month covers managed hosting, HTTPS, backups, uptime checks, weekly performance checks, A/B testing and up to 30 minutes of small edits, but partner arrangements are discussed individually.
Questions about the working relationship
Ask how you start, how you communicate and who your point of contact is. Ask about capacity: what happens when you send three projects at once. Pricing for partner work is inquiry-only here, so ask for it in writing after the conversation, not as a public number. A short inquiry starts that conversation and a call follows.
What to expect, honestly
- ✓No public wholesale pricing — partner terms are discussed after inquiry
- ✓We do not name partners or clients
- ✓Turnaround depends on scope — we do not offer one blanket promise
One example of what your site could look like
This is one sample we designed. Yours is built around your business, your photos and your words, and we have more examples if you want to compare directions.
How it works
1. Consultation
We learn your services, customers and goals, in English or Spanish.
2. We write and design
We draft the words and build the site around your business.
3. 10 revision rounds
You review and request changes until it is right.
4. Launch and care
We launch, then Website Care keeps it hosted, backed up, checked weekly and A/B tested.
