A dog trainer’s site launches quickly when you can describe each program in a few sentences and have a handful of good photos of dogs mid-lesson. We build around your approach and a simple consult request.
How the launch unfolds
Day 1-2: You send your programs, methods, schedule and photos, and we outline the home, programs, methods, about and consult pages.
Week 1: We write and design the pages, connect the consult form to your email and set up any booking link you use.
Week 2: You review on your phone, we refine wording and photo placement, and we test the consult request.
Launch: We publish, check mobile pages and give you a few notes on updating classes each season.
What to gather before you start
- ✓Descriptions of each program — who it is for, what the dog and owner learn and how long it runs
- ✓A short explanation of your methods — the way you would say it to a worried owner, in your own voice
- ✓Photos of training in action — real sessions, with dogs and owners, show warmth better than posed shots
- ✓Your service area and schedule — so owners know whether the commute works
- ✓Any training background you want to share — describe it in your own words, which we will present plainly
The first month after launch
In the first month, add photos from each new class and update the schedule for the next session. Ask happy clients to share a review through the platforms you already use, and refresh seasonal messages such as puppy classes in spring or holiday availability in winter.
Mistakes to avoid at launch
- ✓Skipping the methods page — owners cannot tell whether your style fits their dog, so they keep searching
- ✓Listing programs without describing them — a name like advanced obedience means little without what happens in a session
- ✓Making consult requests hard to find — an interested owner who cannot find the form gives up
One example of what your site could look like
This is one sample we designed. Yours is built around your business, your photos and your words, and we have more examples if you want to compare directions.
