Holiday catering comes in waves. People ask in October for something they want in late November, and your inbox fills with the same questions. A page that answers them before they ask saves you time when you are busiest. It also gives customers a way to order that does not depend on catching you at a good moment.
Start with the dates
Put your ordering window at the top: when pre-orders open, the cutoff and the pickup or delivery days. If you have limited capacity, say that orders are filled in the order received.
State your minimums and lead times clearly. If a large tray needs three days notice, say so before anyone falls in love with it.
What the page should show
- ✓Pre-order window — open and close dates
- ✓Cutoff times — the last day to order
- ✓Pickup or delivery — days and areas you serve
- ✓Minimums — smallest order for each item
The menu and how to order
Use a real text menu rather than a photo of a flyer, so people can read it on a small screen and search engines can read it too. List each item with its serving size and a short description.
For ordering, we link the tool you already use or add an inquiry form with date, headcount and notes. We do not promise live inventory or point-of-sale sync unless the tool you use supports it.
Prepare these before building
- ✓Menu with serving sizes — what is in each tray
- ✓Photos of your real food — no stock images
- ✓Allergen notes — wording you approve
- ✓Contact path — form or ordering link
Keep it fresh each year
Seasonal pages need updating. Website Care at $30/month includes up to 30 minutes of small edits each month, enough to change dates, prices and menu items before the next season.
What to expect, honestly
- ✓We do not run your kitchen orders — your tool handles that
- ✓Allergen wording comes from you — we publish what you approve
- ✓Third-party ordering fees belong to the provider — not to us
