Your site does mostly what you need. A page is broken, a photo is missing, one section looks odd. You do not want to start over, and you do not want to be sold a rebuild when a repair would do. That is a fair position. The trick is knowing whether the problem is on the surface or in the foundations.
Fixes that are usually quick
Some problems are genuinely small. A wrong number or hours line, a broken link, a missing image, a typo, a button that points to the wrong page. These are minutes of work for someone with access, and a fair small-edit allowance covers them without a project.
If your list is made of items like these, you may not need a new site at all. You need someone who answers when you ask.
A rough triage list
- ✓Wording and small details — text, hours, prices and photos
- ✓Broken links and buttons — pages that lead nowhere
- ✓Contact form problems — usually fixable, sometimes a rebuild
- ✓Layout glitches on one page — often fine to patch
When a fix is not worth it
Some problems cannot be patched at a sensible price. A site that has been hacked more than once, a template no longer supported, a design that breaks on mobile, pages that take many seconds to appear or a structure no one can edit. Each repair fights the foundation and the next problem shows up just as the last one is fixed.
A useful rule of thumb: if the list of fixes keeps growing, or if fixing one thing breaks another, you are paying to maintain something that should be replaced.
How we triage
Send us the address and a list of what bothers you. We tell you honestly which items are small edits and which point to a rebuild, and we do not push a rebuild when a fix will do. Where it does make sense, the Launch Website is $399 for up to five pages, built on our managed hosting, with your wording, logo and photos carried across.
Website Care at $30/month includes up to 30 minutes of small edits per month, which handles many of the items on a typical fix list. We do not edit inside other platforms, so fixes to a site on another company’s tools are a rebuild on ours.
What to send us
- ✓The web address — and which pages bother you most
- ✓A written list — every problem, even the ones that seem trivial
- ✓What the site is for — calls, bookings, quotes, information
- ✓Anything that changed recently — an update, a move or a new designer
What to expect, honestly
- ✓We do not patch inside other platforms — fixes happen on sites we host
- ✓We tell you when a rebuild is better — not every repair is worth doing
- ✓No outcome promised — results depend on what the old site contains
