The exam is behind you and the license is on the wall, or on its way. Now the practical questions arrive. You need somewhere to point people when they ask where to find you. Employers had a team page; you need your own address. A small, clear website does that without asking you to become a marketer.
What a new practitioner’s site needs
Keep it small and specific. A homepage that says who you help and how. A page for your services in plain words. An about page with your background, written the way you would explain it to a new client. A contact page with a form and clear next steps.
Clients choosing a new practitioner are looking for clarity and ease. They are asking: do you do what I need, and how do I reach you?
What to gather before we start
- ✓Your name and title as you use them — exactly as written on your documents
- ✓The services you offer — in your own plain language
- ✓Your location or service area — where clients meet you
- ✓A professional photo — even a simple one, taken in good light
You approve every claim
Credentials matter, and they need to be accurate. We only include titles, licenses and affiliations that you give us and approve. We do not add verification badges or claim that anything has been verified. If your profession has rules about how it can be advertised, those are for you and your professional body to confirm, and we ask you to review all wording before launch.
This is less about us being careful and more about the site being truthful to your clients.
Keep it simple, grow it later
The Launch Website is $399 for up to five pages, and that covers the basics for most solo practices. It includes a consultation, mobile-friendly design, copy we write for you, a contact form, essential search setup and 10 revision rounds. As your list of clients grows, add pages for specific services.
Website Care at $30/month keeps hosting, HTTPS, backups and small edits in place. If you take appointments, we connect the tool you already use or help set one up, such as Square for booking and deposits, and that provider’s fees are theirs.
What to leave for later
- ✓A blog — only if you will keep writing it
- ✓Lots of service pages — start with the main three
- ✓Complex intake forms — begin with a simple contact form
- ✓Heavy design — clean and readable wins with new clients
What to expect, honestly
- ✓We do not verify credentials — we only publish what you provide and approve
- ✓We do not give professional advice — advertising rules are yours to check
- ✓No client promises — we never promise leads or results
