You know your trade better than anyone, and still the empty text box on an About page feels impossible. That is normal. Writing about yourself in the third person is a different skill from doing the work, and it is the main reason so many sites stall for months. Copy is included in every package, so you can skip that part entirely.
How the writing works
After the consultation we turn your answers into draft text for each page: a headline, a short description of what you do, service descriptions, an about section and the lines around your contact form. You read it, mark what to change and we revise.
You are not signing off on a finished block of text you cannot change. Every package includes up to 10 revision rounds, which is plenty of room to get a sentence right.
What we will ask you
- ✓What do you do and for whom — in a couple of sentences, the way you would say it to a neighbor
- ✓What makes someone choose you — speed, a specialty, years in the work, how you treat people
- ✓What do people ask before they hire you — those questions become short answers
- ✓What should a visitor do next — call, request a quote, book, visit
What we do not make up
We write from what you give us. If you say you have been in business for twelve years, that goes in. If you do not mention it, we will not guess. We do not invent quotes from customers, prizes, licenses or numbers, and we will ask before including anything that sounds like a promise.
If you already have text, an old site, a brochure or a flyer, send it. Rewriting from something real is faster than starting from nothing and usually sounds more like you.
Things worth sending along
- ✓Old website text or a brochure — raw material we can tidy up
- ✓A few emails you wrote to customers — they show how you naturally explain things
- ✓Your service list with rough prices or ranges — only if you want them shown
- ✓Names of cities or neighborhoods you serve — so the page names them plainly
What to expect, honestly
- ✓The facts come from you — we cannot verify details you do not provide
- ✓Specialist wording needs your eyes — legal or medical statements stay your call
- ✓Large amounts of new content cost more pages — each plan has a page limit
