The two pieces explained
The one-time fee covers the work of creating the site: the consultation, the mobile-friendly design, the copy we write, the contact form, essential search setup and up to 10 revision rounds. The Launch Website is $399 for up to 5 pages, and larger plans go up to $3,000 for up to 300 pages.
Website Care is $30/month and covers managed hosting, HTTPS, backups, uptime checks, weekly performance checks, A/B testing and up to 30 minutes of small edits each month. It is a recurring service because hosting and care are recurring work.

What you own
The domain name is registered to you. The words and photos you supplied remain yours, and so does the content we write for your pages. Your address does not depend on us.
What lives on our hosting is the working site itself. If you ever want to move, you keep the domain and your content, and we can talk through what a handover would involve. We can also explain how it works before you commit.
