Many of your new clients have never been waxed, or had a bad experience somewhere else. They read your page with one question running underneath everything: what is this going to be like? A booking page that lists services with honest time estimates and a plain prep section lowers that worry, which is often the real barrier between a search and a booked slot.
A menu that shows time and what is included
Name each service by area and give a typical duration. A brow wax is short, a full leg is longer, and a client planning a lunch break needs to know. List them as separate bookable items so the calendar blocks the right time, and add combinations as their own options.
Keep wording neutral and practical. Clients do not need cleverness, they need to see the service, the time and that you will let them book without a back-and-forth call.
Prep and policy items to include
- ✓Hair length — how long hair should be for the wax to work
- ✓Skin notes — things to avoid in the days before, such as sun or certain products
- ✓Medication or sensitivity line — a short prompt to mention anything relevant
- ✓First-visit summary — what happens from walking in to leaving
Reduce the surprises
Most complaints in a studio come from surprises: a visit that took longer than expected, a policy nobody mentioned, a charge that was a question mark. Put the late arrival rule, the cancellation window and the reschedule process in one short section the client sees before they confirm.
The confirmation message is your second chance. It can repeat the time, the prep notes and the policy, so the client arrives knowing exactly what to expect.
What we set up for you
- ✓Booking connection — your current tool, or Square set up for scheduling
- ✓Service menu — arranged by area with times
- ✓Prep and aftercare page — the FAQ that prevents repeated questions
- ✓Gentle first-visit tone — copy written so nervous clients feel at ease
Seasonal bookings
Spring and the weeks before vacations bring first-time visitors. A line near the booking button telling people how far ahead the calendar is booked keeps expectations realistic.
What to expect, honestly
- ✓We do not give skin advice — the prep notes are yours, we place them clearly
- ✓Instant booking is not suited to everything — special cases can use an inquiry form
- ✓Provider fees are separate — booking and payment tools set their own rates
