Every business answers the same handful of questions again and again: how long does it take, what does it cost, do you work in my area. Put those answers on one page and you save yourself time and give hesitant visitors a reason to stay.
Where the questions come from
We do not invent questions to fill space. We start from what you actually hear: your email, your form submissions, what people ask at the counter or on a call. Writing down the last twenty customer questions is enough to begin.
We then group them by theme, such as before you hire us, during the job and after the job, so a visitor can find their topic quickly instead of scrolling a long list.
How we write answers
- ✓Lead with the answer — yes, no or the number, then the detail
- ✓Keep it short — two to four sentences usually do
- ✓Say what varies — be honest when it depends
- ✓End with a next step — a link or a form where useful
No search tricks
Some sites stuff FAQ blocks with made-up questions and extra markup hoping to take up more space in results. We do not do that. A page for real people tends to serve search better over time anyway, and it never embarrasses you.
Review the page twice a year. Prices, hours and policies change, and a wrong answer is worse than no answer. Website Care’s monthly editing time covers small updates. A good test is to hand the page to someone who has never used your service and ask what is still unclear. Whatever they ask next belongs on the page, in the same plain style.
What to collect
- ✓Recent customer questions — from email, forms and conversation
- ✓Your standard answers — how you reply today
- ✓Policies and terms — cancellations, warranties, payment
- ✓Topics to avoid — anything that needs your advisor
What to expect, honestly
- ✓No invented questions — only real customer concerns
- ✓No legal or medical answers — your professionals approve those
- ✓No chat bot — the page is static, written content
