A roofing contractor wants an inspection flown on Thursday. A real estate agent needs aerial photos before the weekend open house. Both are time-boxed and weather-dependent, which is exactly why a deposit helps: it commits the date and your equipment to one customer, and gives a reschedule a fair structure when the wind has other plans.
Scope is the whole quote
The cost of a flight depends on what you are asked to capture. A single property is not the same as a construction site mapped weekly. So the first step on the site is a request that gathers location, purpose and deliverables, and only then does a deposit appear.
For repeating work, such as monthly progress flights, a deposit may be taken once and the schedule handled in a short agreement. We describe both paths so a visitor knows which one fits.
What the request should include
- ✓Address or area — with a map link, so you can check the site
- ✓Purpose — real estate, inspection, event, mapping or video
- ✓Deliverables — stills, video, orthomosaic or a report
- ✓Deadline — when the images are needed and why
Weather, airspace and what is out of your hands
Drone flights are affected by wind, rain and airspace restrictions, and both you and the client know it. The page should say, in your words, what happens when a flight is called off: reschedule, a partial credit or something else.
We do not advise on aviation rules or confirm any approvals; that responsibility stays with you. We place your terms beside the pay button. Deposits are processed through your tool or Square, and the provider charges its own fees.
Prepare these for the page
- ✓A list of services with example deliverables — real estate, roof, event, mapping
- ✓A deposit rule — flat or a share of the job
- ✓Your weather and reschedule terms — in a short paragraph
- ✓Sample images and video — with the location type noted
What to expect, honestly
- ✓We do not give aviation or regulatory advice — you handle approvals and notes
- ✓We do not forecast flights — you choose when to fly
- ✓We do not promise delivery times — you state your own turnaround
