A new customer standing at the counter of a bubble tea shop is often a little lost: which tea, which toppings, how sweet, how much ice. The same confusion happens on a website if the menu is a crowded image. A clear page does what a patient employee does, which is to walk them through the choices one at a time.
Show the choices in the order they happen
The order of choices is always the same: pick a drink, then toppings, then sweetness and ice. We lay the menu out in that order, with the signature drinks first for people who do not want to build anything. Each topping gets a short description, because "popping boba" is not obvious to everyone.
Real text beats a photo of a menu board, because a menu board photo cannot be searched or read aloud, and nobody can zoom in on it comfortably while standing in line.
What to list
- ✓Tea and milk bases — black, green, taro, milk tea, fruit tea
- ✓Toppings — boba, jelly, pudding, popping pearls
- ✓Sweetness and ice levels — in percentages or words
- ✓Allergen notes — dairy, nuts and anything you know
Order ahead for the after-school rush
After school and on weekends, queues can stretch out the door. An order-ahead link on the site lets customers pick a drink and walk in to a finished cup. The link opens the tool you already use, and we do not replace it.
If you run a rewards program, we describe it on the site and link to it. We do not build one ourselves. Fees from any ordering provider are theirs, and your register is not synced with the website, so seasonal flavor changes are sent to us or updated by you.
Bring us
- ✓Your menu in text — with the toppings and sweetness options
- ✓Your seasonal flavors — and when they change
- ✓Your rewards program details — if you have one
- ✓Your order link and locations
What to expect, honestly
- ✓We do not build loyalty programs — we link to the one you use
- ✓We do not process orders on our site — your tool does
- ✓We do not sync with your register — menu updates are manual
