You serve two audiences with different needs. Adults deciding whether to mentor want honest hours and expectations. Parents and referring teachers want reassurance about safety. A good site greets both on the homepage and sends each one to the right page.

Must-haves and pitfalls for mentoring programs
- Protect youth. Do not publish kids' full names, schools or photos without written consent. Share stories in general terms.
- Parent-facing safety info. Describe screening, supervision and reporting in plain words.
- No private details in public forms. Collect names and contact basics only, and keep sensitive details for your own intake.
- Do not promise results. Describe what mentors do, not what outcomes will follow.
Programs that work in schools often partner with after-school programs or youth clubs.
What is free, and what the $30 a month covers
The website build is free for youth mentoring programs. It is the same build as our Launch Website, which normally costs $399 one time. That means up to 5 pages, a design made for you, words drafted for you from a short consultation, a mobile-friendly layout, and 10 rounds of revisions.
The only cost is Website Care, $30 a month. It pays for hosting, the HTTPS padlock, backups, weekly checks, A/B testing and small edits. Opening a new mentor training date or updating a partner list is a small edit we handle. Recurring plans can be canceled anytime.
