2Register

Fees, age cutoffs and a link to the sign-up tool you already use, plus a note on financial help if you offer it.

3Schedules and fields

Game days, field maps and parking, linked to your calendar or scheduling tool.

4Parents and coaches

Code of conduct, volunteer coach interest form and what to bring on game day.

5About and contact

League mission, board, sponsors and a contact form for questions.

What your league website must do

Parents search at the last minute: "is the game on?" or "where is field 3?" The site has to answer on a phone in seconds. Registration is the other big job, and it peaks twice a year.

  • Rainout and closure notice at the very top.
  • Registration button on every page during sign-up season.
  • Field maps with the address and a link that opens in a maps app.

Our youth sports league page has more layout ideas.

Must-haves and pitfalls for youth sports

  • Protect kids. Do not publish children's full names or photos without parent consent. Use team names, first names or action shots without faces.
  • Parent-facing info first. Age cutoffs, fees, schedules and safety rules should be easy to find without logging in.
  • Do not post minors' contact details. Direct questions to a coordinator form.
  • Be clear about fees. State what registration covers and how financial help works.

Leagues sponsored by local clubs may also like booster club sites, and teams that run practices after school may relate to after-school programs.

What is free, and what the $30 a month covers

The website build is free for youth sports leagues. It is the same build as our Launch Website, which normally costs $399 one time. That means up to 5 pages, a design made for you, words drafted for you from a short consultation, a mobile-friendly layout, and 10 rounds of revisions.

The only cost is Website Care, $30 a month. It pays for hosting, the HTTPS padlock, backups, weekly checks, A/B testing and small edits. Changing a field assignment or opening a new age division is a small edit we can make for you. Recurring plans can be canceled anytime.

If you need more than 5 pages, we quote it before any work starts. Nothing is added without your yes.

How people find you on Google and in AI assistants

SEO is built into every site at no extra charge. Each page gets a clear title and description, headings that match what people actually type, and structured data (schema) so Google and AI assistants like ChatGPT understand who you are and where you work.

People type things like "youth soccer near me", "little league sign up [town]" or "kids basketball league registration". Sport, age group and town are written into headings and descriptions the way parents type them, so the right families see your league.

Every site also gets an XML sitemap and fast mobile pages. Your name, service area and hours are written the same way everywhere, which helps search engines trust them. Nobody can promise rankings or traffic. We build the foundation. If you later want fresh pages every month, the optional Monthly SEO add-on starts at $50 a month. It is never required.

How to get started

  1. Fill in the short form on this page.
  2. A real person reviews it and confirms you are a nonprofit or community group. You do not have to be registered to qualify.
  3. We hold a consultation. Have your season dates, fee list and field addresses ready.
  4. We write and design the first draft.
  5. You review it and ask for changes, up to 10 rounds.
  6. We launch. Small projects can go live in as little as 48 hours.

We work in English and Spanish (se habla espanol). See the full process or browse example sites first. All groups are listed on our free nonprofit websites hub.

More free nonprofit websites

The website build is free for nonprofits, houses of worship and community groups. Website Care at $30/month is required and can be canceled anytime. Sites larger than 5 pages are quoted before any work starts. Updated October 17, 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Can a youth league get a free website?

Yes. The build is free for registered nonprofits and unregistered community groups like leagues. Website Care at $30 a month is the only required cost.

Can parents register on the site?

We add a Register button linking to the sign-up tool you already use. CCW does not run the registration or payment itself.

Can we post team photos?

We recommend not posting kids' full names or photos without parent consent. We can use images without faces or group shots with permission.

Can we update the schedule ourselves?

Small edits go through Website Care. If you use a calendar tool, we link to it so your dates update there.

What if we run several sports?

Up to 5 pages are included. A league with many sports can fit them on one page, and if you need more pages we quote before starting.
