Your free 5-page website
The date of the next meeting or fundraiser, a join button, and one line on what the group does for the school.
Meetings, spirit nights and volunteer shifts. We link to the calendar tool you already use.
Volunteer sign-up, committee descriptions and how to become a member, written for a parent with five minutes.
What is running now, where the money goes, and buttons to the donation or sign-up tools you already have.
Mission, meeting schedule, board roles and a contact form that routes to the right officer.
What your PTA website must do for parents
Parents check the site on a phone, usually standing in a pickup line. They want the next date, the sign-up link and the answer to one question, such as "when is the book fair?" If that takes more than two taps, they give up and ask in the group chat.
- Put the next event above everything else on the homepage.
- Keep membership and volunteer buttons visible without scrolling.
- Use plain headings like "Join" and "Volunteer" instead of committee jargon.
Our PTA website page goes deeper on layout and content if you want more detail.
Must-haves and pitfalls for parent groups
The biggest risk for a PTA site is turnover. A new president arrives, the old login is lost, and the site goes stale for a year.
- Officer handoff. Website Care means the hosting and edits are not tied to one parent's account.
- Children's privacy. Do not publish kids' full names or photos without written consent. Use first names or none.
- School rules. Keep school-owned information, like bell schedules, as a link to the school so you never go out of date.
- Money clarity. Say plainly what donations fund. We add buttons to your existing payment tools. CCW does not process payments.
If your group also supports a school fund, see school foundations and booster clubs for how they differ.
What is free, and what the $30 a month covers
The website build is free for PTAs and parent groups. It is the same build as our Launch Website, which normally costs $399 one time. That means up to 5 pages, a design made for you, words drafted for you from a short consultation, a mobile-friendly layout, and 10 rounds of revisions.
The only cost is Website Care, $30 a month. It pays for hosting, the HTTPS padlock, backups, weekly checks, A/B testing and small edits. So when the board changes in the fall, you send a short message with the new meeting dates and we update the site. Recurring plans can be canceled anytime.
If you need more than 5 pages, we quote it before any work starts. Nothing is added without your yes.

How people find you on Google and in AI assistants
SEO is built into every site at no extra charge. Each page gets a clear title and description, headings that match what people actually type, and structured data (schema) so Google and AI assistants like ChatGPT understand who you are and where you work.
People type things like "[school name] PTA", "how to join the PTA" or "school fundraiser near me". Your school name, city and meeting details are written consistently across the site, so Google can connect your group to the school and show the right information.
Every site also gets an XML sitemap and fast mobile pages. Your name, service area and hours are written the same way everywhere, which helps search engines trust them. Nobody can promise rankings or traffic. We build the foundation. If you later want fresh pages every month, the optional Monthly SEO add-on starts at $50 a month. It is never required.
