The biggest site map decision for a cleaning company happens before any page is named: are you a residential cleaner, a commercial cleaner or both? A homeowner wants to know if you bring supplies, whether the same cleaner comes each time and what happens with the dog. A property manager wants to know about after-hours access, consistent crews and how you invoice. One services page cannot speak to both of them well.
This guide shows how the site map changes with that decision, what goes on each branch, and which quote form fields save you a follow-up call. It closes with an intake list to prepare before planning.
The annotated site map
If you clean homes only, the services branch splits by type of clean: standard recurring visits, deep cleans, move-in and move-out cleans, and any add-ons such as inside the oven or inside windows. Each page lists what is included and what is not, because scope surprises are where cleaning reviews go wrong.
If you clean commercial spaces, the branch splits by building type instead: offices, medical waiting areas, retail floors or post-construction cleanup, whichever you actually do. Each page covers scheduling windows, how keys or alarm codes are handled and how the crew checks in. A company doing both gets two clear doors from the home page, one per buyer, so nobody reads the wrong page.
The recurring service page explains frequency options, how pricing differs from a one-time clean and how to pause or cancel. The service area page lists towns or zip codes and any travel limits.
Decisions that change the map
- ✓Residential, commercial or both — this sets the top level of the whole site
- ✓Quote or instant booking — set prices suit booking, varied homes suit quotes
- ✓Publish starting prices or not — ranges help screen inquiries if you can keep them current
- ✓Do you bring supplies — answer it on the services page, people always ask
- ✓Which add-ons do you offer — each needs a clear line on what it covers
Quote form fields that save a call
For homes, the form should ask for the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, approximate square footage, pets, how often they want cleaning, preferred days and whether it is a first-time deep clean. For commercial spaces, ask for building type, approximate size, number of restrooms, preferred cleaning hours and how often. A field for a photo upload can help with move-out jobs, where condition varies a lot.
Keep required fields to the ones you truly need to give a price. Every extra required box is a reason to close the tab. See quote request forms for how the form routes to your inbox.
Intake checklist: gather these first
- ✓Scope sheet per service — what is included and what costs extra
- ✓Service area list — towns or zip codes, plus any travel fee rules
- ✓Trust facts you can back up — insurance, background checks or bonding only if true
- ✓Policies — cancellation, lockouts, key handling and satisfaction steps
- ✓Team photos — real crew members, uniforms and a vehicle if you have one
Matching the map to a plan
A residential-only cleaner can often start with home, services, recurring plans, service area and a quote page within the Launch Website at $399 for up to 5 pages. A company with both residential and commercial branches, separate pages per type of clean and a page per major area usually needs Business Plus at $989 for up to 20 pages. We write the copy from your scope sheets; you approve the wording.
What to expect, honestly
- ✓Trust claims must be true — insurance or screening is mentioned only if you confirm it
- ✓Booking tools have their own fees — the scheduling provider sets those, not us
- ✓A form cannot price every job — some homes still need a walkthrough
