A homepage that says you are great persuades nobody. A paragraph from a customer who describes the job, the person who showed up and what happened afterward is far more believable. That only works if it is genuine.
Where real reviews come from
Most owners already have them: on a business listing, in emails, in text messages or on social pages. You can quote a review from a public listing and link to it so visitors can check. You can also ask a happy customer by email for a few sentences and permission to use them.
We place the strongest ones where a hesitant visitor needs them, usually near a call to action and on the service page they relate to, rather than on one separate wall of praise.
How we present them
- ✓Their words, unedited — trimmed only for length, never rewritten
- ✓First name and job type — enough context without sharing private details
- ✓A source link — where the review lives publicly, if it does
- ✓Date or season — so visitors see they are recent
What we will not do
We do not write reviews, invent customer names, display a star average you cannot back up or add markup meant to trick search engines into showing ratings. Those practices can lead to penalties and, worse, make visitors distrust everything else on the page.
If you have few reviews today, we start with the genuine ones and add an easy way for customers to send more. A short, honest page beats a padded one.
What to send
- ✓Reviews you already have — screenshots or links are fine
- ✓Permission confirmation — a message saying the customer is happy to be quoted
- ✓Job or service tags — so we place each by topic
- ✓Listing links — where visitors can read more
What to expect, honestly
- ✓No written reviews — every quote comes from a real customer
- ✓No rating averages — we do not display scores we cannot verify
- ✓No live review feeds by default — we place selected quotes
