An engineer or buyer looking for a shop is scanning for fit: materials, processes, sizes, volumes. If they cannot tell in a minute whether you can make their part, they move on. The site should state your capabilities plainly and make the request for quote easy to send. A short, accurate site that says what you do and how to send a drawing often saves both sides a dozen back-and-forth emails.
Capabilities pages that answer fit
We build a capabilities page, or one per process, listing what you do: machining, fabrication, molding, assembly, finishing. Under each we list materials, size ranges, tolerances you work to and typical volumes, using only the figures you give us.
If you hold certifications, you tell us which ones and we state them exactly as you hold them. We do not add any certification, standard or claim you have not given us.
What the RFQ form collects
- ✓Contact and company — so you know who is asking
- ✓Part description — quantity, material, finish
- ✓Drawing or model upload — within a file size and type limit
- ✓Target date — when parts are needed
- ✓Notes — tolerances, inspection needs, packaging
File upload, scoped honestly
Upload fields are useful for drawings, but they need limits. We set accepted file types and a maximum size, and add spam filtering. Large CAD packages or anything under NDA are better handled by email or a secure method you already use, and the form can say so.
Submissions arrive in your inbox with the attachments. There is no customer account and no quoting system.
What to send us
- ✓A capabilities list — processes, materials, ranges
- ✓Equipment highlights — only what you want to show
- ✓Certifications you hold — with exact names
- ✓Photos of parts and the shop
What to expect, honestly
- ✓We do not add certifications you have not given us — every claim comes from you
- ✓File upload has size limits — large files go another way
- ✓No customer account system — requests arrive by email
