Some of your visitors cannot use a mouse, cannot see low-contrast text or rely on a screen reader. A site that works for them also tends to work better for everyone, including a person in bright sun on a small screen.
What we check and improve
We go through your pages with a checklist of the things that matter most in daily use. Can every button and form be reached with the keyboard? Is text readable against its background? Does each meaningful image have a description? Are headings in a sensible order?
Where we build your new site, these are part of how pages are made. For an existing site on our hosting, we apply the same checklist and note anything we could not change.
The core checklist
- ✓Keyboard use — every link and form field reachable and visible when focused
- ✓Color contrast — text clear against its background
- ✓Alt text — short descriptions for meaningful images
- ✓Form labels — each field named so it can be announced
Honest limits
Accessibility is a practice, not a badge. We do not claim that a site meets any standard or law in full, and we will not sell you a certificate or an overlay that promises to fix everything. Third-party content such as embedded booking tools or maps may have its own limits.
If your situation has legal exposure, talk to your advisor. We can then work from a specific list of issues they or an auditor identified. After the changes, we suggest you try your own site with the keyboard only, tabbing through a page. If you get stuck or lose track of where you are, tell us exactly where and we will fix it.
What to prepare
- ✓Known problems — anything customers have reported
- ✓Third-party tools — embeds and widgets you use
- ✓Media files — videos that need captions
- ✓Priority pages — where people most often get stuck
What to expect, honestly
- ✓No blanket compliance claim — we do not state a site meets any standard
- ✓No overlay widgets — we fix the pages themselves
- ✓No testing with every assistive tool — we cover the practical basics
